New Blog New Look Ouray Colorado

I love the new setting of the blog.  We have a new look for my page from a photo taken looking up the valley.  This is one from a couple of weeks ago just after the first snow fell.  We were on our way home and it was such a great day with the color of Ouray and looking up the valley.  Ouray is known for the jeeping, swimming in the hot springs pool, fourth of july celebrations and now the largest man made ice climbing park.  The Ouray Ice Festival will be January 5-8 this year.  Check out the http://ourayicefestival.com/ for more information on our ice.

Working on the new Ridgway Rendezvous Art & Craft Festival 2011 show.  Getting all the applications together so we can get our new jury in to review them and choose our artsits for this year!

working on my wholesale show this spring

Super busy right now working on my wholesale show this spring.   I will be at the Wholesale Crafts show in Las Vegas, Nevada at the start of June.  My art is going well for the show and my earrings and pendants are the centerpiece for this show.  I am so excited to be going.

Here is a photo of my new jewelry sets.  They are poppies and are called "Summer Poppies".  I am working with sterling silver bezel and crystal clear resin over the top of a printed giclee on canvas.  It is a dynamic combo.
